Problem Note 61704: "ERROR: HPA procedure failed to process input data" occurs when you load data to SAS® LASR™ Analytic Server using SAS® Embedded Process

Starting with the fourth maintenance release of SAS® 9.4 (TS1M4), if you use SAS® LASR™ Analytic Server with SAS® Embedded Process to load data, the load process fails. When you encounter this issue, an error message similar to the following might occur in the SAS log:
ERROR: The LASR Analytic Server received an ill-formed request that cannot be executed.
ERROR: Creation of in-memory image for data set MYLIB.MYTABLE.DATA failed.
The data set was not added to the LASR Analytic Server.
NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors.
ERROR: HPA procedure failed to process input data.
The load process fails due to truncation errors introduced by enhancements for the SAS Embedded Process in SAS 9.4M4.
